What is hypnosis and how does it feel like?

Hypnosis is a trance-like state characterized by focused attention, deep relaxation, and heightened suggestibility. In this state, individuals are more open to suggestions, allowing them to explore thoughts, feelings, or memories.

Hypnosis experiences can differ from person to person. Some may describe it as a state of deep relaxation, akin to daydreaming or being absorbed in a captivating book. Others might feel a heightened focus or concentration, similar to being engrossed in an activity. Sensations could range from calmness and relaxation to increased awareness or a shift in perception.

Will you make me do something with which I am not comfortable?

Not at all. While under hypnosis, you'll remain fully conscious of your surroundings and responsive to the therapist's instructions. You retain complete control over your decisions and actions and can choose to bring yourself out of the hypnotic state whenever you feel the need. You will also have clear memory of every aspect of the process.

Hypnotherapy

Is hypnosis for everyone?

Hypnosis might not be suitable for everyone, as its effectiveness can vary among individuals. Some might respond well, while others may not experience significant benefits. In your initial session, an evaluation and a set of suggestibility tests will be administered to more accurately assess whether hypnotherapy may be beneficial for you or not.
